How about the 50mm f/1.8 lens? Although it is marketed at a very low price, its autofocus is really poor, and the 55mm f:1.8 is clearly superior in every way, thus it is preferable to save money to purchase it. The Sony Zeiss FE 50mm f/1.4 Planar T* provides slightly superior performance (e. g. significantly softer bokeh), but not enough to warrant the significant price difference.
